Designing Small

When I get an idea for a design, I often work out its details on a small project like socks, mittens, a hat or a new outfit for my doll, Elizabeth. If you click on her photo, a larger version will open in another window.

Elizabeth is a Magic Attic doll. She is 18″ tall like the American Girl brand, but her body shape and composition makes her easier to fit. Elements of this Christmas outfit could be easily adapted to larger projects—especially clothing for a child.
